Hijacked truck recovered
On Thursday a truck, transporting a TLB tractor, was hijacked by an unknown number of men along the N12 freeway.
The driver and co-driver were dumped, unharmed, in the Evaton area.
One suspect was later found driving the TLB tractor on the N12, and the truck (horse and trailer) were recovered after being abandoned in Etwatwa Extension 19.
The hijacked vehicle belongs to a company situated on Lemmer Street, in Brakpan.
A charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle was registered against the 55-year-old suspect at the Etwatwa Police Station and he appeared in the Daveyton Magistrates Court on Friday, July 17.
