Ray McKenzie and Len Ashton die
Two well known entertainers who have lived in Brakpan for many years died on Saturday.
The singer Ray McKenzie, also known as “Big Ray” McKenzie passed away after a long illness.
McKenzie shone on the country scene and had a successful career which spanned many years.
Len Ashton, entertainer and singer passed away on Saturday evening after suffering a heart attack.
Ashton was well known for his astonishing balancing tricks. He could balance almost anything on his chin.
