There was not even space for him and he did not have his indicators on (I don’t think he knew how to use them).
If I did not think quickly he would have pushed me off the road — he did not even have his uniform on.
I then hooted at him and showed him that he must look, and he just threw his hands in the air like he didn’t give a damn about what he just did.
You could see he was not on duty, nor on his way to an emergency.
This road has a speed limit of 80km/h and the way he was going through the cars was crazy.
I think the police must also obey the rules of the road if they do not have an emergency to get to.
They shouldn’t think they can just do as they wish because they have a badge.
How can they expect us, as road-users, to obey the rules if they do not set the example to others?
They are supposed to lead us, but they don’t.
People will also do as they do, because they take the law into their own hands.

“We are in the process of determining to which station this vehicle belongs and this information will then be sent to that station’s fleet manager.

Traffic officials are worse. They regularly stop their vehicle in Muir Avenue directly on the corner of station road and proceed to pull vehicles off in Station Road. This creates a situation whereby when exiting Muir Avenue you are on the wrong side of the road. When approached and politely asked to move their vehicle to the required 50m from the corner we are told they can do as they want. Really? They also stop vehicles across the exit/entrance and force you to wait until they are done. If you hoot they deliberately take longer. So tired of NO real laws. The laws only apply to certain people.
