Described as a major health hazard, the effluent emanates from a drain, near the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Customer Care Centre.
This latest sewage spill is the third such incident in recent weeks.
Last week, sewage ran down Park Street and despite the metro attending to the problem, a smelly trail of toilet paper and other flushed items, were left in the street.

In addition, the Herald reported last week, on a sewage leak in a veld near Hospital Road, Brakpan North.
