Golfing for Cansa

State Mines Country Club will host a 2014 Sanlam Cancer Challenge golf day, on Saturday, July 26.

The format on the day will be an Individual Stableford.

Over 36 000 golfers took to the fairways at clubs around South Africa in 2013, to help raise a record R3.3-million for the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).

These funds contribute half the amount needed for annual research into cancer and possible cures.

The regional competitions, like the one at State Mines, will determine the 100 golfers who will qualify for the finals at the Gary Player Country Club and Lost City Golf Course, at Sun City, on October 20 and 21.

For more information and to book to participate on the day call 011 740 9962.
