WATCH: Dalpark Private School holds Acts of Kindness food drive

The learners all got together, making sandwiches to hand out to homeless people and families in need in the community.

Dalpark Private School learners, both big and small, jumped in on the action on July 18, to make sandwiches for the homeless and less fortunate.

The older learners helped the younger ones make peanut butter and jam sandwiches, as part of their acts of kindness for Mandela Day.

The sandwiches were later distributed among the homeless, as well as others in the community falling on hard times.

Pick n Pay also came to help, bringing ingredients for soup that would be handed out by the school as well.
