Senior Phoenix netball players win second place
The tournament saw teams from far and wide.
The annual Phoenix Netball Club winter bash took place on June 15 at the Brakpan sports grounds, where teams from all over competed for the top spot in the friendly tournament.
The Phoenix Seniors team secured themselves a second place in the tournament against the winners, Harties.
In the mixed tournament, Royal Diamonds from Bramfischerville came first, and in the legends round JTNC from Pretoria took the top spot.
Teams from the East Rand, West Rand, Pretoria and further competed, including Babcock, Black Hawks, Brakpan Dolphins, ERU Sport Academy, JTNC, Kempton Stars, Lethuxolo, Ninja Squad, Dawn City Diamonds, Shine On Us Academy, Smega Stars, Welgedacht Perils, Royal Diamonds, GI Janes, Black Tigers, Noordelikes, Harties and Sibongomusa NT.
