Woman robbed while home alone

The stolen goods are valued at R16 899.

A Porter Avenue woman was preyed upon by two robbers last Friday evening while she was alone at home.

According to police information, the victim was watching TV at around 18:40 when a man opened the door to her room.

He kept one of his hands inside his jacket, indicating he was armed with a weapon.

The man picked up the victim’s laptop and handed it to his accomplice who was standing near the door.

He then took the victim’s cellphone and placed it his pocket.

After his demands for money were not met, the robber took a sound system from the room, and then both men left.

The stolen goods are valued at R16 899.

The victim’s husband reported the incident to Brakpan SAPS and a house robbery docket was opened.
