RE/MAX helps others this festive season

Toys and books can be taken to your nearest participating office.

The annual RE/MAX National Toy and Book Collection is an opportunity to help needy children over the festive season.

Agents and clients can drop off spare toys, books, stationary supplies, and children’s clothing at local participating offices between December and January.

All donations received will be dropped off at various local charities and children’s organisations in the country at the end of the campaign.

Regional director and CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa, Adrian Goslett, says the RE/MAX network looks forward to this campaign every year.

“Every time we run this campaign, our offices do a fantastic job delivering many carloads full of donations to various children’s organisations in the country. We thank everyone who continues to support this drive and helps positively impact the communities we serve.”

Some of last year’s campaign highlights included an impressive collection effort by the RE/MAX SA regional support office in the Western Cape, who handed their donations to the Westlake United Church Trust.

Along the coast, RE/MAX Lagoon Estates handed their collection to Langebaan Pre-primary Community School.

In Gauteng, the RE/MAX Dazzle office received many donations for the National Toy and Book drive. The office distributed the collection to charity organisations such as Samaritan House, Home Start, Almond Tree, Buyani House, and the SPCA.

The RE/MAX Lifestyle Estates team in Nelspruit also had a good collection and donated it to Huis Bethlehem. In Polokwane, RE/MAX Northland Realty handed its collection to the Ngwana Baby House, which houses about 22 children.

The head of Ngwana Baby House said they solely depend on donations and were grateful for this contribution.

“It is so encouraging to see how our offices can make an impact across the country thanks to the generous donations of RE/MAX agents and clients. We hope this year’s collection will be even more successful than the last, and we continue to be grateful to all who choose to support our efforts,” says Goslett.

No matter how you choose to give back this December, RE/MAX of Southern Africa wishes all South Africans a safe festive season.

“May we all be responsible as we travel to family gatherings and other events throughout the season. Wishing all RE/MAX associates and clients a blessed holiday season,” Goslett concludes.
