The Brakpan SPCA has appealed to members of the public for donations of pet food following an influx of animals over the festive season.
The number of animals in the society’s care has increased with many cats, kittens, puppies and farm animals.
This has put a strain on the food donations received over December.
An appeal has been made for any donations, big or small.
Those unable to drop off donations at the SPCA premises at 96 Denne Road in Witpoort are urged to make use of drop-off points at Devon Hulpsentrum and VC SuperSpar, both of which are located in Dalview.
Monetary donations can be made to Brakpan SPCA, Standard Bank account number 020 922 094, branch 012 042.
