RMAC Jet Day attracts both pilots and spectators

Jet day is always a day that both pilots and spectators are looking forward to.

The annual Rand Model Aeronautics Club (RMAC) Jet Day saw both pilots and spectators enjoy some flying on February 20. JIt is a day that both pilots and spectators look forward to. A total of 10 pilots attended.

The models range from planes flying on an electrically driven fan (EDF) to models running on a little jet engine that sounds and look just like the real engine.

Pilots like Neville Wright treated the crowds to a great show with his Avanti, leaving everyone in awe with what the jet can do. Many of the EDF planes showed the crowds that flying a jet doesn’t have to be expensive.
