A case of murder is under investigation by Brakpan police after the body of a man was found in Withok Estates.

On Tuesday afternoon, local SAPS was summoned to Lukas Steyn Street where the deceased was found in a ditch.
According to information received from the police, the man was dressed only in a black T-shirt.
He was found lying on his back and his hands were bound with cable ties. Cable ties were also found around one of his feet, and the back of his head and forehead were covered in plastic.
The Herald recently reported on the discovery of a man’s body in a mielie field near Floors Street in Withok Estates. This body was found on July 19 and a murder docket was opened.
