Weekend crime round-up
A woman was robbed at gunpoint by the occupants of a grey vehicle along Elsburg Road, near Carnival City.
According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:
• Friday – A man was stabbed in the arm and robbed of R100 by a lone thief along Station Road around 8am. The victim told police his attacker is known to him.
A case of robbery has been opened.
* A white Hyundai truck was stolen from a business along Lemmer Road in Vulcania.
• Saturday – Three men fled with a large sum of cash after robbing a man who had just withdrawn cash from an ATM at a petrol station along Voortrekker Road.
After withdrawing the money at about 9am, the victim was accosted by the trio who demanded the cash.
One of the men held the victim while the other two searched him.

* A home in Hospital Road, Brakpan North, was burgled of a TV, computer screen and laptops.

The incident took place around 4pm.
The victim was waiting for someone when the car stopped next to her.
Two men alighted the vehicle and threatened the victim with firearms.
She was forced into the car and they drove off.
One of the men demanded her cellphone, while another searched her bag which contained cash and a laptop.

• Sunday – A motorcycle was stolen from an address along Station Road.
* A break-in was reported at an address along Kiepersol Crescent in Dalpark Extension Six.
