Maskless man nabbed for dagga, ammo

When the man retrieved his mask from his pocket, a ziplock bag containing dagga fell from his pocket to the ground.

Failing to wear a mask led to more trouble for a 19-year-old man when he was stopped by police on Friday.

It is now a criminal offence in South Africa to not wear a mask in public and the man was spotted at the corner of Park Street and Northdene Avenue by officers conducting crime-prevention duties around Brakpan.

Law enforcers stopped the man late in the afternoon and asked why he was not wearing a mask.
