Job scam doing the rounds

The City urges the public to vigilant.

Members of the public are warned to be aware of job scam messages that are being sent to the public through social media messaging purporting to be from the City of Ekurhuleni.

The messages request people to present themselves at the municipal offices in Germiston for medical tests.

The City reiterates that its job application process is not conducted through social media platforms or social media messaging.

Positions are strictly advertised on the City’s website at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za/vacancies where both permanent, temporal and fixed-term vacancies are advertised.

Report fraud and corruption on 0800 102 201.
