Six men were arrested for drug possession in Tsakane on Friday during a sting operation conducted by the EMPD.
Members from the EMPD Eastern Region Task Team pounced on residences along Mokabane, Makofane and Shakwane streets in Extension Six following a tip-off.
Officers confiscated 53 pieces of rock (crack cocaine), 25kg of dagga and 643 plastic bags of various sizes of nyaope.
The drugs are valued at R39 740
.The six arrested men, aged between 20 and 35, were taken to the Tsakane Police Station.
They face charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances.
