Municipal employees screened

Constant screening will continue at different working stations in the coming weeks.

Over two thousand City of Ekurhuleni employees were screened for Covid-19 on Monday in line with the Level 4 lockdown regulations that require screening of all employees returning to their workplaces, and furthermore in contributing to the need to do more tests to detect any cases of Covid-19.

The City of Ekurhuleni is conducting mass screening for both essential workers, workers that are working remotely and employees who are currently on lockdown in accordance with government’s guidelines on the management of Covid-19.

Mass screening of employees will include both questionnaire screening and temperature screening.

The city has set aside three days to screen all its employees this week.

Constant screening will continue at different working stations in the coming weeks.
