Bringing families together in the kitchen

The recipes are quick and easy.

Margaret Hirsch, executive director of the appliance retailer Hirsch’s Homestores, recently teamed up with Kelly Vermaak from Kelly’s Kitchen to try out a brand-new series of fun recipes that can be replicated at home for the whole family.

“With the Covid-19 pandemic being on the minds of many, our aim was to bring families together who are in lockdown by getting involved in the kitchen and, in general, just having some old-fashioned fun,” said Margaret.

“The recipes are quick and easy and we worked them around ingredients you would generally have at home.

“Our in-store cooking events, Kitchen Capers and Kids in the Kitchen, have been postponed over this period and we did not want you to miss out on some fun and new ideas, so we will be bringing these to you online to watch in the comfort of your own home.”

You can view the videos on Margaret’s Facebook page and on Hirsch’s Homestore social media pages.
