Get your game on against crime

To add to the fun, the Youth Prevention Crime Desk is calling on the Brakpan community to take part in their #SISHAYIBOLA_ASISHAYUMUNTU viral challenge.

The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children is observed annually from November 25 to December 10.

To coincide with this and with the aim of raising awareness about how sport can reduce violence and crime, the Brakpan SAPS Youth Prevention Crime Desk will host a Sports Against Crime Tournament.

The tournament comprises two events, the first of which will take place at the sports grounds in Mkhankwa Village on Saturday, November 23.

This pre-event takes the form of a soccer tournament for u-10 and u-13 teams, and will be held from 7am to 4pm.

On November 30, the main event, a netball and soccer tournament, kicks off at the Charl Baard Stadium in Brakpan.
