Support of Poppy Day street collections is valued

The money collected will be used for mutual help towards worthy ex-service men and their families in need.

Rina Esterhuizen, secretary of the SA Legion Brakpan branch, writes:

The chairperson, Rees Davies, and members of the Brakpan branch extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Brakpan residents and the surrounding area communities for their generous donations and support on Poppy Day street collections on November 8 and 9.

A special thank you to all the businesses and clubs who permitted us to set up collection points at their establishments.

All individuals who collected and assisted the Brakpan branch – thank you for your time and effort, it is much appreciated.

The money collected will be used for mutual help towards worthy ex-service men and their families in need.
