Body found with gunshot wound to chest
A case of murder is under investigation.
The body of a 34-year-old man was found in the Mkhankwa Village Informal Settlement on Thursday morning, last week.
Brakpan police were alerted to the discovery around 4.20am, by a woman who found the man lying in the street.
The deceased, who has since been identified, sustained a gunshot wound to his chest.
A case of murder is under investigation and police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
