• Friday – A security guard was hijacked of his patrol vehicle while responding to an alarm at a company in Lemmer Road, Vulcania.
The incident took place at about 8.15pm when three men threatened the victim with firearms.
He was robbed of the keys to the Chevrolet and his cellphone.
The hijackers bound the victim’s hands with shoelaces and sped off in the vehicle.

• Saturday – Two cars were stolen.
A grey Isuzu bakkie was stolen from an address along Wenden Avenue, and a blue Mazda was stolen from Mall@Carnival.
* A laptop and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Sherwood Shopping Centre.
• Sunday – A woman and two other commuters were robbed and assaulted by four occupants of a white Toyota Quantum.
The victims boarded the taxi along Lemmer Road in Vulcania around 6.30pm.
As they travelled towards Tskane, they were held at gunpoint and robbed of their personal belongings.
They were dropped off in a secluded area and told to run and not look back.
