Common robbery:

• A woman was robbed of her handbag in Anzac yesterday (Thursday).

The incident took place at about 2am as the victim and a friend were walking along Main Reef Road.

They were stopped by two men who asked for a cigarette.

One of the men grabbed the victim’s bag and the pair ran off.

The bag contained the victim’s cellphone, bank card and some cash.

Burglary:

• Jones Avenue (business).

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: Cash and a tablet.

• Northdene Avenue.

The home was broken into yesterday.

Stolen: A TV.

• Merriman Street, Brenthurst.

The burglary occurred yesterday.

Stolen: Power tools.

• Lemmer Road, Maryvlei (business).

The company was burgled yesterday.

Stolen: A computer and a cellphone.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A blue Yamaha motorbike was stolen from an address along Prince George Avenue in Brenthurst on Wednesday.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• On Wednesday, a car parked in Privet Avenue, Leachville, was stripped of its wheels.
