Employee awarded for heroic actions
His quick actions prevented a near disaster from happening.
AV Africa Video and Multimedia Productions, a Brakpan-based family business owned by André and Marion Grove, recently presented a special award to one of its staff members, Spies Serage.
The award was in appreciation of Serage’s quick action, which prevented a person from being injured.

The video crew of the company is fully trained in producing safety videos and when Serage noticed a crane moving towards a customer who was oblivious to what was about to happen, he alerted the person controlling the crane to take action.
