It was smiles all round on Thursday afternoon, last week, when staff members of Caxton East Rand paid a visit to the Jabes Care Centre in Brakpan Central. The non-profit organisation opened its doors in 2016 and is a place of safety for boys. The visit was an initiative of the layout and design team of Caxton East Rand who made sure that every child received a gift box packed with treats. The boys also enjoyed refreshments brought along by the visitors. Staff members who were thrilled to spend some time with the boys are (from left): Leshnee Raman (layout design manager), Mona Loubser (founder of Jabes), Tienie Engelbrecht (layout designer), Thelma Koorts (Brakpan Herald editor), Cherie Kleynhans (layout designer), Linda Pretorius (Caxton branch manager Central East Division), Shanet Moodley (layout designer) and Carlene du Toit (Caxton Central East group sales manager).

Leshnee Raman, layout design manager also handed a gift to the founder of Jabes, Mona Loubser, who took the visitors on a tour of the home and shared some background information about the organisation.
