The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (October 8 to 9):

Armed robbery:

• A motorist was robbed at gunpoint along Lukas Steyn Street in Withok Estates on Sunday.

The victim was forced to stop his car at around 11.45am because of two pedestrians standing in the middle of the road.

He was then approached by a gunman who demanded money.

The gunman and an accomplice fled with the victim’s cellphone and wallet.

• On Sunday, a man was robbed and assaulted in Dalpark Extension Six.

The victim was walking along Augrabies Avenue at 6.30pm, when he was confronted by two men, one of whom was armed with a knife.

They assaulted him and ran off with his cellphone, bank card and some cash.

Common robbery:

• A pedestrian walking along Airport Drive in Dalpark was overpowered and robbed by two men on Friday.

The victim was confronted by the pair at 7.30pm and robbed of his bag, which contained a laptop, cellphone and other valuables.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• A car parked along Verster Street in Minnebron was stripped of two wheels on Sunday.
