Ward 105 is made up of Dalview, Dalpark Extension One, Kenleaf, Larrendale, Rand Collieries, Denneoord, Vulcania, Sallies Village, Minnebron, Sonneveld, Sunair Park and Carnival Industrial Park.
“All the long grass has been reported on numerous occasions to officials at different levels,” said Ueckermann.
“The railway line along Carmyllie Street in Dalview and all other parks and open areas have been reported as they need urgent attention.

“The area near Gairloch Street is another major concern as the weeds and grass are sky high.
“This has also been reported numerous times for more than four months.”
Ueckermann added that she has requested urgent feedback from the department as this is a major area of concern.
