House robbery:
• Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries following a house robbery in Brenthurst yesterday morning (Wednesday).
Four men broke into the Joubert Street house at about 1am and attacked the occupants.
Two men, three women and a toddler live in the house.
Three victims were viciously beaten, while a couple and their child escaped the assault by hiding.
The robbers fled with R180 and six cellphones.
Armed robbery:
• Three gunman robbed a security guard at a residential complex in Dalpark yesterday morning.
The incident took place at about 2.35am at an address along Nossob Street.
After hearing a loud noise, the victim left the guard room to investigate.
He was met by the trio, who threatened him at gunpoint and took him back to the guard room.
The victim was searched and robbed of his cellphone, panic button, pepper spray and a remote control.
The robbers fled after their attempt to steal a vehicle failed.
Burglary:
• Namaqua Road, Leachville.
The home was burgled yesterday.
Stolen: TVs, laptops and clothes.
