Take part in MTB race

An exciting and unique aspect of the race is a floating bridge on a dam.

The Transvaal Galvanisers Mountain Bike (MTB) Race is back and pedal power will be the order of the morning on August 27.

The event will feature 50km, 35km and 10km races.

It will start in Dalpark Extension One at the Van Dyk Dam opposite Carnival City in Brakpan and is set to be a good test for riders.

All proceeds from the race will go to the Apricot Tree School in Northmead to help children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

An exciting and unique aspect of the race is a floating bridge on a dam.

The first race will start at 8am.

Registration will happen between 6am and 7.30am.
