Hijacking:

Two armed men made off with a silver Mercedes Benz (model not provided) after hijacking the driver in Dalpark, last night (Wednesday).

The victim was parked at an address along Etosha Avenue, when the hijackers confronted him at gunpoint at about 7pm.

Armed robbery:

• A male taxi commuter was robbed of his wallet, passport and two cellphones, on Saturday.

The victim boarded the taxi, a white Toyota Quantum, along 12th Road, in Maryvlei, at around 5.30pm.

Two other male passengers were in the taxi, along with the female driver.

As they headed into Tsakane, the taxi stopped and one of the men pointed a gun at the victim.

He was searched and robbed of his possessions, and then forced out of the taxi.

• A man was robbed while travelling by taxi to Germiston, last night.

The victim boarded a taxi along Elsburg Road, near Carnival City, at about 6.15pm and was shortly thereafter confronted by two other passengers and threatened with a knife.

The robber took the man’s cellphone, cash, bank cards and laptop bag.

Robbery:

• Two women were robbed in Vulcania, yesterday.

The pair were travelling along Denne Road when they were forced to pull over at about 10am because of a flat tyre.

One of the woman got out of the vehicle to change the tyre and noticed three men on the other side of the road.

One of the men offered to help the woman, but she declined the offer.

The men then demanded the woman’s handbags and threatened to shoot one of them.

The bags’ contents included cellphones, cash and house and car keys.

One woman was also robbed of her wedding ring, earrings and wristwatch.

• A man was robbed at the corner of Station Road and Hamilton Road, last night.

The victim was approached by two men just before 8pm, who pushed him to the ground, searched him and grabbed his cellphone.

One of the suspects was arrested.

Burglary:

• Main Reef Road, in Anzac.

The break-in took place on Tuesday.

Stolen: Cash.

• Loerie Lane, in Anzac.

Two homes in a complex situated along this street were broken into yesterday.

Stolen: TVs, a games console, speakers and a tablet.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A white Nissan 1400 bakkie was stolen from Boundary Road, on Tuesday.

Theft out of/from motor vehicle:

• A car parked at an address along Leeu Avenue, in Leachville, was broken into on Tuesday.

A tablet and the car’s radio was stolen.

• A toolbox was stolen from a vehicle parked along Main Reef Road, in Anzac.

The theft took place yesterday.
