People who take other people’s pets are like “kidnappers”.

The pet will pine for their loved ones and want to run away or sometimes refuse to eat.

Our cat, a two-year-old male cat named Twitsie, went missing on July 15 in Brakpan Central area.

His colour is light ginger on top and white underneath with green eyes. We have sent a photo and description to every SPCA in Gauteng.

We advise pet owners to collar and tag their cats and dogs and have them micro chipped as well.

When lost pets are taken to the SPCA the owners can be identified and contacted.

A small microchip with the owner’s info can be implanted under the pet’s skin for a fee at the SPCA.

For a small additional fee, they can be collared and tagged. They also need to be sterilised to prevent them from roaming around and getting lost or stolen.

The SPCA is doing very good work in helping to reunite lost pets with their owners. Support the SPCA.
