Local cancer survivor joins awareness campaign

These funds will go towards supporting women with breast cancer.

Twinsaver has partnered with 18 real life breast cancer survivors to share their inspirational stories and to highlight breast cancer awareness during Women’s Month.

One of the women is Brakpan resident Sherine Kock, who is a three-time cancer survivor.

A mother of three and wife to a loving husband, Sherine has joined Twinsaver’s mission to alert people on the importance of early detection and to educate and encourage positive lifestyle choices to women with cancer.

Sherine founded a support group in aid of other women, and their families, who have been diagnosed with cancer.

She embraces the importance of women celebrating themselves and their victories.

The campaign will launch in August with special edition Twinsaver toilet paper.

The packaging has been especially designed to highlight breast cancer awareness.

The special edition packs will be available for purchase in all major retailers and for every pack sold, Twinsaver will donate R2 to the Cancer Association of South Africa.

These funds will go towards supporting women with breast cancer.
