Hijacking:

• The driver of a white Toyota Hilux bakkie was hijacked near Mall@Carnival, on Wednesday.

The victim’s car was bumped by a Nissan Sentra (colour not provided) along Airport Drive at about 11.20am, and the victim got out of the car to inspect the damage.

Four men – two of whom were armed with guns and one with a hammer – alighted from the Sentra and grabbed the driver.

They forced him into the Sentra and drove off with him.

The victim was dropped off at the Phomolong Railway Station, in Soweto.

Burglary:

• Wenden Avenue.

The home was broken into yesterday (Thursday).

Stolen: Hand tools. One suspect was arrested on the scene.

• Somerset Avenue, in Dalview.

The burglary took place yesterday.

Stolen: Two TVs.

• Reitz Street, in Dalview.

The break-in occurred yesterday.

Stolen: Two TVs.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• Two motorcycles were stolen from the parking area of a block of flats along Voortrekker Road.

One (make and model not provided) was stolen on Wednesday and a white Big Boy TSR 250 was stolen yesterday.

Theft from/out of a motor vehicle:

• Six batteries were stolen from two trucks at an address along 15th Road, in Witpoortjie.

The theft took place on Wednesday.

• On Tuesday, truck spares and tools were stolen from a truck along the N17 highway, in Brakpan.
