Police have reported an increase in thefts from trucks, especially of tyres and batteries, and it is hoped that a solution to this problem can be found.
Crime will be the main topic of discussion at a meeting hosted by the Brakpan SAPS, which all local registered security companies and owners of transport companies are urged to attend.

The meeting will be held in the boardroom of the police station at noon on Thursday, June 8.
