Traffic chaos as taxis block R24 near airport
Kempton Express: Protesting metered taxi drivers are blocking the R24 east, causing major delays for motorists travelling towards OR Tambo International Airport this morning (Friday).
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
Speaking to eNCA this morning, metro police spokesman, Kobeli Mokheseng, said the metro police, police and other services were closely monitoring the situation.
It is believed they are protesting against the Uber taxi service.
