SAPW brings hardcore action home
Brakpan-based South African Pro Wrestling (SAPW), which is celebrating 10 years in the ring, will host an event like no other on Saturday, March 4.
“Home of Hardcore” will take place at the Brakpan Indoor Sport Centre and will feature five hardcore-style matches.
Brakpan wrestler and current Hardcore Champion, Gerrie Kuyper, better known as The Jackal, will have his hands full as he takes on rival wrestler, Hector Payne, for the SAPW Hardcore championship in a “barbwire” match, where the ring ropes will be covered in barbed wire.
SAPW Heavyweight Champion, The Crow, will take on Harliquinn, for the title in a traditional SAPW hardcore match to settle old scores between them.
Other wrestlers include Griffin, Big Fire, Cowboy, and from HWA (Honour Wrestling Association) Steve Eden and The Ripper.
Monre Lee and Warlock from XWE (Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment) will also be featured on the card.
Gates open at 6pm and the action starts at 6.30pm.
A minimal entrance fee is charged.
