Two women arrested in connection with the murder of a 58-year-old Denneoord man appeared in the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, last week.
The man, who owned several properties in the Brakpan and Springs areas, was killed in his home along Field Street on Monday, April 11.
He was shot once in the head (read more here).
The women, aged 29 and 55, were arrested five days later.
The younger of the two women has been charged with murder and the other as an accessory to the crime.
The women may not be named until they have pleaded in court.
The case was postponed to Friday and they remain in custody.
