Support Breast Cancer Awareness Day
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Geluksdal Cancer Support Group is planning a fun filled Cancer Awareness Day on October 31 at the Geluksdal Stadium.
Regular and first time blood donors can support the blood drive which will be held from 9am until 2pm.
“Blood transfusions are an important part of treatment for many oncology and cancer patients,” said Debbie Keyser, a member of the Geluksdal Cancer Support Group.
The annual cancer awareness walk will start at the stadium at 8am and a show and shine competition for car enthusiasts will be held with amazing prizes up for grabs.
The day promises to be filled with loads of food and entertainment for the whole family.
A small entry fee will be charged.
