Dube swings ahead

Kenneth Dube, golf director and club professional at the Royal Oak Country Club, is swinging to the big time and has his sights firmly set on the Diner’s Club International Pro-Am Classic, in Abu Dhabi, from November 17 to 21.

Dube, who was awarded the Professional Golfers Assocation (PGA) of South Africa Order of Merit 2012, in March, this year, is thrilled to be participating in the event and is looking forward to playing in the tournament for the first time.

“I am very excited to be playing there and am honoured that, through golf, I have been able to go all over the world and play the sport I love,” he said.
“It feels great to have won such a prestigious achievement and I am excited to participate and make lots of new friends.”
Dube also claimed the PGA of SA Order of Merit in 2009.

“It always feels good to beat all the professionals and sit at number one,” Dube added.
“I would like to thank all the members of Royal Oak Country Club for supporting me and I hope to make them proud when the tournament comes around.”
