Illegal dumping a disgrace to the human race
Disgusted Brenthurst home owner writes: I felt very ashamed last week when I drove with a visiting teen family member to the mall when she asked me:“Tannie is julle dorp altyd so dood en vuil?”.
I had no words just shame. I always find a nice thing to say when someone makes fun of Brakpan. But this time it was true and it hurts!
We are now staying in a very awful place where people have no more morals or respect or a conscious!
We have been living in Brenthurst for the last 10 years. When we bought the place it was such a sweet area; I used to love to drive down Prince George Street. It used to be so pretty.
I am so sad to see how our fellow home owners and neighbours are turning our area into a dumping site by dumping refuge bags, garden rubbish and building material all over. On our sidewalks, fields, bridges and parks.
“Sir/Madam, don’t you have a conscious? Don’t you feel ashamed of yourself?”
I cannot drive past one of these places anymore without not writing this letter.
You do renovations to make your house to look pretty, but you dump all your waste just across the road from your house. It doesn’t make sense!
For years we have to drive past the dump you made and still it doesn’t bother you? You dump your rubbish in a natural spring and you sleep at night?
Some of you are just plain lazy human beings! Most of your neighbours are so disgusted with your heartless behaviour.
But we will no longer tolerate it! Please move out of our area if you do not have respect for others or yourself!
