Enter early for September race

This year’s Transvaal Galvanisers Mountain Bike Race will be held a lot sooner than 2014’s event.

The race, which starts in Dalpark Extension One at the Van Dyk Dam, opposite Carnival City, will take place on Sunday, September 6 instead of the November date when it was previously held.

The organisers have encouraged riders to save the date and enter as soon as possible for the 50km, 35km and 10km races.

All proceeds from the race will go to the Apricot Tree School for development of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

An exciting and unique aspect of the race is a floating bridge on a dam.
