Community clean-up continues in Anzac

Community members are invited to roll up their sleeves for another community clean-up in the Anzac area.

The initiative, started last year, has seen different areas of the suburb cleared of litter and filth, including Hosking Park.

For the next operation, volunteers will meet on February 11 at 07:00 at the corner of Kleinfontein Road and Edward Street to clean up the area behind the Royal Oak Country Club.

Those who would like to assist are requested to bring along gloves, rakes and refuse bags.

Anyone is welcome to help. Donations of gloves, refuse bags and water for volunteers are also welcome.
