Police appeal for info following fatal stabbing and shooting
Two men murdered in Witpoort Estates on Sunday evening.
Police investigations are underway to determine the motive for a deadly attack in Witpoort Estates on Sunday evening.
Two cases of murder and one of attempted murder have been opened after the incident claimed the lives of two men.
The third victim sustained a minor injury.
According to information received, the trio were walking in the vicinity of Second and 13th roads at around 21:00 when shots were fired at them.
One victim sustained a bullet graze to the leg and escaped further harm. He went to a hospital for medical assistance but was not admitted.
On arrival at the scene, police discovered the body of a 25-year-old man who had been stabbed in the neck. The second victim (33) was shot several times.
Both deceased have been identified and their bodies were taken to the Springs Mortuary.
