Hospice East Rand’s Candles of Remembrance goes virtual

Hospice East Rand walks a journey with patients and their loved ones.
This journey continues well after death and as such, Hospice remembers all those who have lost their lives.
Hospice East Rand's annual event, Candles of Remembrance, is a special time enabling it to reflect and remember these special people.
This year, with the challenges associated with Covid-19, Candles of Remembrance will take place virtually allowing the community to watch the ceremony in the comfort of their homes.
Members of the community are invited to join Hospice East Rand on November 29, from 5pm for this virtual evening of remembrance, music and lighting of candles to celebrate loved ones who have passed.

If you would like to remember someone special at this time of the year, light a candle in your home whilst watching the ceremony.
Residents are also invited to make a donation to Hospice East Rand together with a special message of hope, good wishes or fond memories.
Your message will be displayed during the evening and listed on the Wall of Remembrance on the Hospice East Rand website.
All donations, big or small, will help Hospice East Rand continue to provide its vital service of caring for those with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Donations can be made via EFT using the reference “your name and the letters CR” as the beneficiary reference.
