Pineapple and beetroot juice
At one stage I would eat anything except beetroot, however, I went to a relative once for dinner, at which beetroot soup was served.
Of course I had no choice but to eat it.
The taste was not as bad as I had envisioned. I now eat it regularly. I am sure you will enjoy this pineapple and beetroot juice.
Serves 2 – 3
1 pineapple, remove crown, peel, and cut along the length into quarters
3 raw beetroot, washed; trim off ends
400 ml cold, filtered water
3 ml sea salt
- On high speed, feed the pineapple into the electric juicer.
- Also on high speed, feed in the beetroot.
- Finally, add the water and salt, remaining on high speed for 30 seconds.
- Stir the juice and serve chilled.
Carrot, apple and ginger juice
Home-made juices, are a great way to take in those valuable nutrients; they also cleanse the body and alkalise the blood, boosting your immune system. Using an electric juicer will make this so much easier to prepare.
