Brakpan artist Danie van der Westhuizen walked away with the ‘Male Crossover Artist of the Year’ award at the South African Country Music Artist Foundation Awards over the weekend.
Van der Westhuizen’s singing companion, Lu-Anel, from Kempton Park, received two awards – ‘Best Female Newcomer of the Year’ and ‘Female Crossover Artist of the Year’.
