Meet Simon and Siouxsie from Snakes in the City at Carnival City

There is no cost to meet them and some of their reptilian friends.

Fans of Simon Keys and Siouxsie Gillett from Snakes in the City as seen on Nat Geo WILD will get a chance to meet and greet the reptilian loving pair when they stop over at Carnival City as part of their Gauteng tour.

They will be at Carnival City during the school holidays on Sunday, June 23, from noon to 3pm and on Monday, June 24, from 3pm to 6pm.

There is no cost to meet them and some of their reptilian friends.

Keys caught his first snake at the tender age of 10 in a wasteland near his home, and described this first snake capture as the day he found his lifelong passion.

Gillett, who is all for defending the misunderstood, was drawn to snakes as they have a bad reputation.

“I kept them as pets from a young age. My aim is to change people’s attitude towards them,” she said.

Although Gillett has been keeping and working with snakes for over 20 years, she only became a professional snake catcher when she started dating Keys in 2015.
