Certificates awarded to patrollers
Patrollers enjoyed a day in their honour on Friday, which was organised by mall management and saw each patroller presented with a certificate of appreciation.
Community patrollers were recognised for their assistance in keeping shoppers at Mall@Carnival safe over the festive season.
The event was attended by Brakpan SAPS station commander Brig Fredl Jonck, local sector managers, members from the Brakpan Social Crime Prevention Unit, as well as representatives from the Gauteng Department of Community Safety.
