Help get Gaitskill back on the wrestling mat
“The club has started a trust fund to help pay for Michael’s medical expenses, but we need your help to ensure that he is back on the wrestling mat again soon.”
Following the tragic car accident on June 10 that claimed the life of honorary Brakpan Wrestling Club member KleinJan Combrinck and which saw Brakpan and Commonwealth Games wrestler Michael Gaitskill sustain various serious injuries, including a fractured hip and serious burns to his arms and legs, the club is doing some fund-raising to help ease the financial burden on Gaitskill’s family.

“Unfortunately, Michael’s medical bills are piling up and he needs our help to ensure he makes a full recovery,” said Debby Botha of Brakpan Wrestling Club.
