Brakpan wrestlers continue to shine
Brakpan Wrestling Club continues to live up to its proud name as one of the best producers of wrestlers in the country.
The club’s members again impressed on the mat and reinforced their reputation by finishing in third position of the total medal haul at the Eastern Gauteng Wrestling Association Open Championship held at the John Barrable Hall in Benoni on February 24.

With an overall accumulation of 36 medals at the championship (20 gold medals, 12 silver medals, two bronze medals and two fourth places) the club only found themselves behind TuksWrestling (49 medals) and Centurion Wrestling Gymnasium (71 medals) on the overall medal board.
